How Do I Know?
Females
7 out of 10 females have no signs or symptoms of the infection, however, some females may complain of
- Discomfort or pain during sex
- Pain or burning when urinating (having a wee)
- Unusual vaginal discharge
- Irregular bleeding between periods or after sex
- Lower abdominal pain
Males
5 out of ten males have no signs or symptoms of the infection, however, some males may complain of
- Pain or burning when urinating (having a wee)
- Discharge from the end of the penis
- Pain or swelling of the testicles
- Irritation to the top of the penis
