How Do I Know?

Females


7 out of 10 females have no signs or symptoms of the infection, however, some females may complain of

  • Discomfort or pain during sex
  • Pain or burning when urinating (having a wee)
  • Unusual vaginal discharge
  • Irregular bleeding between periods or after sex
  • Lower abdominal pain


Males


5 out of ten males have no signs or symptoms of the infection, however, some males may complain of

  • Pain or burning when urinating (having a wee)
  • Discharge from the end of the penis
  • Pain or swelling of the testicles
  • Irritation to the top of the penis
